About us

CROW MOUNTAIN BIKING is an independent MTB company based in Fife, Scotland. Founded in 2018, we have taken our passion for mountain biking and created an environmentally aware business with an emphasis on customer service, quality and originality. We constantly search for fabrics and manufacturing methods which have the least environmental impact possible. All our Off Bike range is certified Fair Wear/Fair Trade with products in the line-up being made from organic and recycled materials. Our On Bike range has been updated to include our Flight V2 Jersey which is made from 100% recycled polyester. Even our packing is made from 100% recycled cardboard.

Nobody likes getting to an online check out and finding out they have to pay a few more pounds for delivery. That is why we ship our goods to you totally free of charge. We also feel strongly about protecting the environment as much as possible, which is why we use fully re-usable and/or recyclable cardboard boxes and no plastic packaging.

Demand for cheap textiles has led the apparel industry to allow some of the most unethical trade practices on the planet; the worst examples include child labour, excessive working hours, unsafe and unhygienic working conditions. Crow Mountain Biking products are manufactured under strict Code of Labour Practices independently verified by The Fair Wear Foundation, to promote fair labour conditions in the garment industry.

“Confidence in Textiles“ is synonymous worldwide with responsible textile manufacture – from the raw materials to the finished product on the shelf. This is just as true for production companies and retailers along the textile chain as it is for the wearers of Crow Mountain Biking products.

EarthPositive® Apparel is made from low-impact organic cotton, in manufacturing facilities powered by green renewable energy. The carbon footprint has been reduced by some 90% and the calculations certified by The Carbon Trust.

EarthPositive® fabrics have been selected by Crow because it is 100% certified organic. Under the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), farm workers are protected by stringent social criteria and by the ban on the use of poisonous chemicals that can severely damage the health of farmers and their families.
